The BTNOG-12 2025 Technical Workshops will be held from 17th to 21st August 2025 in Thimphu, Bhutan, at the Royal Institute of Management (RIM), Simtokha. This year’s event features three parallel tracks with expert-led sessions and hands-on labs: The BGP Deployment Operations Workshop covers deploying and managing BGP in dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 environments, including IS-IS, IBGP/EBGP, route filtering, scaling, policies, and troubleshooting, ideal for network and systems engineers new to routing protocols. The Campus Network Design & Operations Workshop focuses on designing and managing enterprise campus networks using best practices, covering network design, fibre optics, VLANs, routing, and IPv4/IPv6 dual stack, suited for network admins and engineers managing organizational infrastructure. The Practical Virtualization with Hybrid Strategies Workshop teaches how to select and deploy virtualization strategies, including Proxmox, KVM, Docker, Ceph, AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD, aimed at system admins and DevOps teams with prior virtualization experience.
